I am happy to say that I have found my non-tech hobby in Crafting which I have been sharing here on the blog.

For the majority of us, we waste so much time these days on technology that we forget to come back into the real world. Well, the time has come for you to put your tech down, and start looking into some of the hobbies that you can take part in, that don’t involve any! They are super fun, we promise, you just have to give them a chance. Keep reading down below if you would like to find out more about what these are.

Cooking

First, let’s take a look at cooking. Cooking can be a super fun hobby if you are willing to look at is as such, rather than looking at is as something that you just have to do. It’s important that you are willing to change your outlook and how you view cooking, in order to enjoy it a little more. For example, instead of feeling put out every time you have to cook, why don’t you try changing your mindset and seeing it as an opportunity to try something new? There are so many recipes out there, that it makes sense for you try a whole range of new ones.

Or, if you’re running out of time in the day but you want to get a delicious meal going, then you can look at doing something like beef stew in the crock pot. It’s still something you’ve made, so it counts!

Sports

Sports are a wonderful way to incorporate an escape from technology and getting fit in the process. If you are finding you have endless amounts of energy and you are wanting to burn this off then look at various sports that you could take part in. If you enjoy certain sports, such as football or rugby then there may be classes or clubs in the local area that you can join. Exercise is great for both your physical and your mental health. 

Arts

Finally, if you are wanting to put the tech down and escape it for a few hours then there is nothing better than some old-fashioned paper or card. Let’s go back to basics and enjoy some art work as a hobby. This will give you soemthing to focus on and maybe even give you a project idea that you can work on over time. A lot of people like to buy a big piece of paper or even a canvas and work on it whenever they have the time. If you enjoy all things art and this is something you want to do then you will need to invest in some good quality art supplies.
